Countdown!

DID I MENTION WE :LEAVE IN 14 DAYS? !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Princess" Quisha!

Watch out Mickey here we come!

Wonder if she realizes she has pooh on her feet? LOL

Clearly I'm not the only person in my family excited about Disney! This is Quisha my 26 year old. She loves everything Pooh (can you tell). She has been shopping for the last couple of months for just the right t-shirts to  wear to the parks. She is a preschool teacher at a private christian school and loves kids! Good thing since she works with them each day! LOL At home she is also called the "queen or queenie" by some, but not when we are at Disney. That name is reserved for yours truly! HAHA

She has a large collection of stuffed animals and has been known to carry a few of her friends along on our vacation. Thanks to her we have had our room decorated many times by Mousekeeping! She's been seen in the park on several occasions with a pooh hat on and during our Christmas trip to Disney for the first time she was reminded on several occasions that she had "pooh" on her head! My favorite memory of Quisha at Disney was when Winnie the Pooh noticed her across the walkway and ran to hug her! It was if he had found a long lost friend. Basically Quisha is just a big kid who loves Disney almost as much as her mom does. :) She's a bit bummed that we couldn't get an ADR for Chef Mickey's and for some reason I didn't consider looking into the Chrystal Palace. May have to try while we are there.

Trip Reports

I'm a big fan of trip reports, and on my first trip to WDW I ate trip reports up! I had this huge binder filled with info about Disney and a slew of reports to read on the trip. Since that time trip reports have come a long way filled with tons of details and photos. Each time I have gone I try to take notes each day of our activities and this time will be no different. I have had these notebooks for years but forgot that I had them until I pulled out my Disney scrap albums last month. I don't usually get autographs but love taking pictures with the characters so I'm going to use them to keep track of my trip. I have three of them so I will share them with the girls if they want one. The notebook has a place for journaling, a few pockets for memorabilia and a place in the back for a few autographs. While reading a couple of reports this week I notice a lot of people have done  Pick a Pearl and I'm thinking this would be a great experience for me and the girls. I really like this carriage cage on that's sold on ebay. Well...just like anything else only time will tell! LOL

Have Bags Will Travel!!!

I couldn't help myself...I had to pull out the suitcase! This thing is huge and I wouldn't even consider carrying it if we weren't driving to Florida. We brought a set of these on our trip to Hawaii. They said they were underweight but we should have known better. We ended up paying $50.00 for them being overweight at the airport (granted they were stuffed to the gills but we had two other big pieces that were fine). I do love the fact that it holds soo much and on the few occasions that I pull them out to use they bring back fond memories of our vacation honeymoon (granted it took us nearly 20 yrs to go on one...lol). My disney shopping bags were starting to pile up in my room so I figured I might as well toss them in the suitcase rather then collecting bags of stuff in my bedroom. My goal is to get everything Marc and I need in this one suitcase! HAHA this should get interesting because I'm not good at packing light and especially not for a week long trip at WDW! And my hubby is not known for returning from a vacation without a slew of stuff...so only time will tell if this trip is any different! Let's just say I wouldn't bet on it! LOL

Disney Countdown!

We are only 17 days away from our trip!!! Next week I need to wrap up my shopping and pull out the suitcase and start packing. Although I have come close to pulling out the luggage several times this week (can you tell I'm excited). Yesterday I picked up the cute top above from Sam's Club (for only $7.50...thank you very much). Its a photo of the Eiffel Tower and I'm thinking it will be great for wearing to Epcot! I also picked up the hipster bag for $6.00 and may decorate with a couple of my Disney pins. Did you notice the camouflage scarf ($1.00)? That's for Animal Kingdom and I'm in the market for something Hawaiian looking for dinner at Ohana's! Thinking I need to make a trip to Catos! Of course that could get dangerous!!!! LOL

Speaking of my pins, I'm not big on trading just collecting and I noticed a few that are missing from my collection so you know what that means? I will be on the lookout for some to add to my collection. We have only ever stayed at three resorts at Disney...the Contemporary, All Star Music and Pop Century. For some reason I don't have an All Star Pin, or one from MGM or Magic Kingdom (that in itself should be a crime...lol)! I'm also on the look out for a Mickey and Minnie Pin, and The Beach Club Resort since we will be eating there on this trip. I wonder if there is a pin for Crystal Palace? If so I will have collected a pin for every place we have ever eaten at!!!!

I loved my phone case so much that I decided to decorate my ipod cover. I still need to seal it with modpodge but I have to say....I love it almost as much as the phone! And I'm already thinking about what to decorate next! LOL

The Disney Shopping Continues

Last month I got a Blackberry Storm. I'm still learning how to use the technology but I knew right away that there were two things I wanted for my phone...one was a Disney phone case and the other was a Disney park app. I got the app right away (love being able to check in and see what's going on at WDW, especially where the characters are) but when I looked on eBay I wasn't that impressed by the phone cases I was seeing and I didn't think they were worth the $15.00 they were selling them for. In the back of my head I kept thinking there has to be a way I can decorate a case...so I found a basic white case for $5.00, added some Disney stickers and sealed it with modpodge. Who knew my scrapbooking/craft skills would come in so handy!

On a fashion note I lucked out and found a real big bargain this weekend while at Sam's Club. I was looking for a t-shirt to add to my Disney vacation stash when a sales lady whispered that the next aisle over a sales person was marking pj's down for $2.00 a set! I hightailed it over and was able to grab a nightgown and two pair of pjs for $6.00!

I'm soo excited about this trip and about surprising the people that we are going to see there. I've been counting down the days on twitter with my girls (actually a lot of my tweets have been Disney related recently) and they may not want to admit to it yet....but I know they are just as exited as I am. Marc isn't there yet, but I know when he gets there he will have a good time. Only 27 days to go!!!!!!

Disney Shopping

Ok, you know its real when you start shopping for Disney attire for the parks. I picked up all of these little goodies at Wally World! The hat $5.00, T-shirt was $7.50, Wallet was $5.00, and bracelets were $3.30. I'm on the lookout for a few more shirts and some tennins shoes and then I can start packing!
