Orlando Shopping Haul

I picked up a few things along the way during our weekend getaway to Orlando for a wedding. Thought I would share my haul for anyone looking for some fashion inspiration. LOL One of my big investment pieces were a pair of boat shoes and I got a great deal on a pair from Bass.

The very best deal of all times came with my Vera Bradley bag. A steal with their 70% off discount on this classic bag. The color is actually a darker blue (there seemed to be a lot of blue in this haul..lol).

I have been looking for a navy blue vest like forever and imagine my surprise when I saw one in the Bass outlet for $20!

We tend to spend more at the Flea Markets but this year I had some specific items in mind so I returned to a few booths from our last trip and picked up 3 pair of sandals for less then $23. You all know I don't believe in paying full price if I can help it.

No trip to Orlando is complete without a trip to one of the Character Outlet stores.  I picked up this pair of Mickey boat shoes for less then $15.00.

VanHuesan has some really great men clothing but every once in a while I find something I like . These stretch pants were on sale for $15.00 each (There was no way I would ever pay the $78.00 retail price. So I snatched up two pair. I'm still on the look out for a pair of slim white pants but no luck yet.

I "had" to buy this monorail mug and then Marc found the 4 Park cup for $3.00 so we grabbed a few for us and for some friends.

I usually buy one item from the Disney Store at DTD but this year I didn't have any other plans to buy anything other then the mate to my key cover from last year. One of my friends who were there with us surprised me and brought me a new Minnie to go with the new Mickey. Then I saw the tapestry keychain at the Disney Character store and picked it up as well. Originally I planned to use it as a pulley on my iPad cover but when I got it home I realized it was to big to fit on the pulley.

I know 2014 was last year but how often can you pick up a quality Disney hoodie for less then $15 ? Yes that one had to come home. And it had a lot of my favorite colors on it. A winning combo for sure. LOL

The one splurge item I wasn't sure I would be able to get was this Cinderella Alex and Ana bracelet (next on my wishlist is the Castle one) but Marc saw me eyeing it at the Downtown Disney store and said go ahead an get it. You don't have to tell this girl twice. LOL I love adding pieces to my wardrobe and I never tire of accessories but this year I have made up my mind that I will get rid of at least three item for every one item I purchase. As much as I love to shop my favorite part of the trip was most definitely the wedding!

Disney Boardwalk (Last night in Orlando).

Monday everyone else had pretty much left to go back home but since we were driving we stayed an extra day considering the time we knew the time wedding would end on Sunday. We spent the morning at the local flea markets followed by an early lunch finally at Giordano's!  We checked out one of the outlets as well for some last minute gifts for family and friends. And since I just had to get some Disney in we headed to the Boardwalk Resorts to check out the atmosphere at night.

We ended the evening by riding the friendship boats and because I timed it pretty good we even got to see the fireworks at Hollywood Studios and Epcot. After grabbing an ice cream cone from Seashore Sweets we headed back to our hotel to sleep. Imagine my surprise when I heard fireworks going off from our room. Only Disney Magic would make it possible for me to enjoy fireworks from all three parks without actually setting foot in any of them! It was a great way to end our trip. The next morning we got up bright and early, packed our bags and traveled the 12 hours back to VA. Lord willing Marc and I will be back again in late January or February of 2016!

Wedding Day

Marc and I got up early. Had breakfast in the hotel diningroom and then hit the outlets. We knew we only had a few hours to be out before heading to the wedding later that evening. After some shopping at the Premium Outlet near the hotel we came back and got dressed for the big event.

This is one of those post that doesn't need a lot of explanation. The photos speak for themselves. We all had an amazing time and the bride and groom made for a beautiful couple. Not to mention the awesome venue. There were events planned for the entire evening from dancing, to a Dessert bar in a cellar to Smores by fireside ending with sparklers seeing the bride and groom off! It was after midnight again before we made it back to our hotel room. LOL If your ever looking for a place to host a beautiful wedding with great scenery as a backdrop I suggest checking into Bella Collina .

Downtown Disney Day

We spent the morning chilling in our room ( actually I spent it chilling while Marc worked on an assignment to turn in), a first for us at least in Orlando LOL.  Our friends met us at our hotel room around noon and we all made the trek to Downtown Disney to check out the shops and grab some food. We ended up eating a Bongo's Cuban Cafe. It was OK but not somewhere I would take the time out to do again. It felt so good to hang out with my girlfriends.

And the guys seemed to enjoy themselves as well. LOL

The whole gang together!

Me and my girls after we did some shopping (or I should say after I did some shopping..lol).

Me and my prince We eventually made our way to the friendship boats and caught a ride back to the westside. Note for anyone traveling to Downtown Disney there is major construction going on but as usual Disney has it covered and we found parking with no problem by following the signs and catching the shuttle over.

Originally we planned to eat dinner at Giordano's but we eventually decided to head over to our friends timeshare and literally set around all night chatting and eating right there. Nicki and her friend came and joined us later that evening after we told them we were listening to people sing at the karaoke. We even got Nicki to get up and sing. I have a lot of the weekend on video I just need to figure out how to edit it. LOL We didn't pull in to our room until after midnight.

Pre-Wedding Travel Day

We left for Orlando late evening on a Thursday, drove tell we hot Savannah GA and then got up early the next morning for the last four hours of the trip. Of course no trip to Florida is complete without a stop at the welcome center. And of course you have to take a pic!

And you can't stop and not get Orange juice and a few brochures. LOL

We checked in at our hotel without any issues and surprise surprise we got the King suite with jacuzzi again. The trip would have been smooth sailing if it wasn't for the traffic on I-4! If you have been following my trips for a while you know this is my least favorite thing about Orlando. LOL

Later that day we joined the bride and groom to be and other family and friends at the brides parents timeshare. We hit one of the nearby outlets before they closed and then headed to bed in preparation for a full day at Downtown Disney and dinner with friends later in the day.
