Pop Century and Check Out...BOO!!!

I hate check out day. And even though I always know we will be coming back again I hate saying goodbye. Disney just has that type of hold over me. My daughter recently asked me what I would do if Disney was in my backyard. Oh my!!! I wouldn't know what to do with myself! Can you imagine? If your a Disney addict you get it. If your not...then you will never get it! LOL

Poor Marc....he always has to figure out how to put all of our suitcases, and shopping bags! Keep in mind many of them belong to him. LOL

Pop Century has been good to my family!

After Marc loaded up the car we headed around front to the the welcome area of Pop Century to fill our cups up one last time and to check out the shops.

I'm pretty sure two of these towels came home with us. And I didn't buy them. LOL

I did buy a few kitchen items!

Since it was a Sunday we took a short detour to Tampa so that I could go and meet one of my Pastor Wives friends. This was not our as usual Disney trip but we had very few mishaps and the family had a great time, not to mention we got to hang out with some great friends. I can't believe I'm going back in a few weeks (or that it took me so long to finish this trip report) and that I'm actually going to Florida and not to the parks! I say the parks because I do plan to get a little Disney in at Downtown Disney, The Boardwalk and of course our dinner at Ohana's. I mean....they don't call me the Disney Queen for nothin! LOL

Animal Kingdom

I always get excited when I see the Tree of Life!

How can you not especially when you see how detailed the carvings are?

I could be wrong but I think this is the first time we got to meet this guy in person!

I'm going to eat here one day. We could smell the food while sitting on one of the park benches.

This ride cracks me up every time.

We got to see this show for the first time. It was very cute.

Again with the details!!!

The first time we rode this I swore never to get on it again! We have rode it during each trip back. And this is coming from a person who doesn't like thrill rides! LOL

This is a must see for anyone going to Disney for the first time. We got to see the show the first time it opened at WDW. Back then it was not enclosed! Thank goodness they closed it in and added air conditioning! LOL

I get excited about seeing the animals, but I love catching all of the small details. and usually you catch something that you missed the first couple of times!

We didn't catch the parade this time around but we did get to see this guy in action. The performers at Disney are some of the best!

We left mid day so that the girls could get ready to go back to the closing of the Miss. Teen USA pageant. Marc and I spent the rest of the afternoon doing some last minute shopping. Afterwards we joined our friends at their timeshare for one last goodbye!

Cape May Cafe

Although we ended up canceling our 1900 Park Fare reservations we still went to breakfast at Cape May Cafe on our last full day in Orlando.

Next to the Grand Floridian this is my next favorite place to stay on my wish list.

I love the character meals!!!

With Disney its all about the details!!!

The food is not bad either! LOL

After breakfast we headed over to Animal Kingdom to hit our favorites before the heat took over!
