You know you are a Disney Addict when.....

Finally a New Post (just realized I posted here instead of my personal blog. Oh well enjoy LOL )!!!

Love the people in this room. They are the best!

He was moving a bit slow on Saturday but for the most part I think he enjoyed himself.

My baby sis who is expecting twins in a few months!

My beautiful baby girls

My son in luv got to experience the whole family in full force this weekend. I think he survived. LOL

Me and the cousins! The children of my moms siblings.

Its been a long couple of months but we finally seem to have a routine in place. This pass weekend was the first time we have done anything strictly for the fun of it and it felt good to spend time with my family celebrating the legacy of my great grandparents and their children (my aunts and grandparents on my mothers side). Marc still has bad days but we are focusing on the good ones and praying over the bad days. He is back in the pulpit (at least once a month) and this weekend he will preach outside of our church since the stroke. So if you are into prayer please keep him lifted up!

Speaking of Family reunion and something that will bring this blog post back around to Disney....

You know you are a Disney Addict (AKADisneyqueen) when your family brings you Disney gifts to the Family Reunion. LOL

Part 2 of Our Last Day in the Parks

After leaving Tomorrowland my daughter checked the app and saw that Winnie the Pooh and Tigger would be out doing a meet and greet near the Winnie the Pooh ride so that is where we headed next (I love having the Disney app on my phone and not having to rush to a ride or experience only to find out the line is too long or the character is not out at the moment). We did have to wait a few minutes for Winnie and Tigger to take a "break" but in the end it was worth it. Winnie the Pooh has always been my daughters favorite character in the park (and she just happened to be wearing a Pooh shirt that we picked up at Uniqlo at Disney Springs a few days before). Over the years she has had some really cool experiences with him and this trip ended up being no different.

When you are having the Best Day Ever (but trying not to think to much about the fact that its your last day in the parks) hanging out with friends. LOL

I swear at one point Tigger was flirting with me!

When you take a photo with your friends!

But then you embarrass Winnie when you start stripping down so he can autograph your shirt (apparently they can autograph your shirt, you just can't be wearing it at the time). And thankfully she had a tank on underneath it. Although how she handled wearing that in 95 plus degree weather I will never know.

I loved the way Pooh seemed to be so attentive to her. It didn't matter that she was an adult. Disney Magic at its best! Just a reminder that you are never too old for Disney!

Strolling through Fantasyland!

I love the look of the outside of the Little Mermaid area!!!

Gaston's Tavern.

The Beast castle!

We had to hightail it over to Frontierland for our Big Thunder Mountain Railroad Fastpass at 12:50.

The Riverboat Cruise was on our list of things to ride but sadly we never did get a chance to get on it.

I have yet to make a trip to the island! After riding Thunder Mountain we had hoped to catch the train back over to Fantasyland so that we could see more characters. But sadly after a few minutes of waiting we were told that they trains were not working. Another item on our list that will have to wait until our next trip. I love riding the train because it reminds me of the trains at my second favorite park which is Busch Gardens in our home state.

After walking back towards Fantasyland we headed to the Big Tent (another first on this trip) to see Donald, Daisy, Goofy and Minnie Mouse.

Goofy is one of my favorites so I had to take a picture with him before leaving! He was also one of the few characters Marc wanted to take a photo with. LOL

Donald was flirting as well. Kept trying to whisper in my ear!!!! LOL

After being in the park for most of the morning and a better part of the afternoon we caught a boat over to Wilderness Lodge to check out the Geyser Point Bar and Grill Restaurant. I have a separate blog post up with a review on it here

The moment when I pretty much made up my mind that we would not be doing anymore summer trips to Disney (unless I get Grands lol).

I have never considered the Wilderness Lodge Resort a resort that I would want to stay at but (and all though its not my first time visiting the resort) for some reason on this trip I actually started to like the themeing and I could even see my family staying here a few nights (granted we would have to win the lottery to make that dream a reality lol).

I can't swim a lick but for some reason the water boats are my favorite mode of transportation at Disney!

We headed back to Magic Kingdom, caught the boat back to the Ticket and Transportation Center so that we could catch the monorail to Epcot (we would come back later that evening and close out our visit at Magic Kingdom. Anyone else besides me have a hard time on that last day when you know you are going to be leaving the most Happiest Place in the World and going back home? Stay tuned for next week when we close out our last day in the parks at Epcot!!!!

Part 1 of Day 5: Last Day in the Parks

I usually schedule our trips the same way every visit. Arrival day usually means dinner at Ohana's, followed by a non park day at Downtown Disney (now known as Disney Springs). The first park visit of the trip is usually Magic Kingdom (or sometimes Epcot) and we usually end our last day in the parks at Magic Kingdom and Epcot. So this trip was no different. I also try not to think too much about the fact that the vacation is about to end. Unlike my family I never grow tired of visiting Disney so I tend to pack it in on that last two days because I know the next trip may be a few years away.

The last morning in the parks. Marc and Q started each day out by filling up their cups with coffee.

The Magical gates.

Last Ferry Boat ride. But you sure can't beat the view!

I don't know what's more exciting! Seeing the gates to Disney, the Train entrance or seeing the Castle! If you love Disney like I do then you know that feeling of "coming home".

The architecture at Disney is just amazing!

We had reservations that morning originally for Buzz Lightyear. But since we had a little bit of time on our hands before our 9:45 Fastpass we thought we would stop in and see if we could meet Tinkerbell for the first time.

I'm not sure if the CM's told Tinkerbell in advance that Q was celebrating her birthday but she got the best welcome ever! Sidenote: Why didn't anyone warn us she was soo chatty ?!!! LOL

Me explaining that this was our first time visiting her!!!

We had the best interaction with her, and it would become a pattern for the rest of the day!

Don't you just love walking down Main Street?

Time to head to Tomorrowland!

The Purple Wall!!!

This was our first time on Buzz Lightyear since the updates to the Q area.

We had a blast!!!

And Q became a Galactic Hero for the first time.

We finally got to ride the People Mover! I love this ride but the first day at MK the line was insane by the time we made our way around to it.

Love the view of the castle from here! If you have never rode the People Mover at night you really should! The view is even better.

Since we were in the area and the wait wasn't too long we decided to try out the Monster's Inc Laugh Factory for the first time. I have to admit I wasn't sure what to expect but we really ended up enjoying it!!!

Me trying to be cool at the Purple Wall. LOL Next week in Part 2 we wrap up our last day in the park with some amazing Character Meet and Greets and say goodbye to Epcot!
