Its just starting to hit me that vacation is over! But in my head I am already planning the next two trips so I am not as sad as I could be. LOL This is us the morning that we were leaving (sadly all of the footage from that day and arrival day in Orlando has somehow disappeared...not sure what happened but I am trying not to think about it too much).
This one started snacking before we were even an hour away from the house! LOL
Me trying to contain my excitement so as not to aggravate my traveling companions. But on the inside I was a screaming.....we are going to Disney World! LOL
My vlogging camera. I attempted to do a really great job, but in all honesty even at Disney it was hard to do without thinking folks were staring and or judging you.
When we hit South of the Border I knew it was only a matter of time before we were half way to our destination!
Took a friend along for the ride, and planned to take pictures of him the whole trip. The heat of Florida turned out to be too much for him to handle (as in I got to busy and forgot to snap photos, and then by the time I realized it we were on our way home). Talk about a social media fail! LOL
I loved doing Disney with my family, but explain why my hubby and I look like homeless folks and my daughter who took our picture looks relaxed and refreshed in the selfie she took of herself?
Something about driving around Florida in a white car just makes me smile! Don't ask me why. LOL
Music choice for traveling to Disney!
Surrounded by snacks and drink, what's a girl to do but go to sleep. LOL
Spent the night in Savannah Ga. I really believe in stopping and getting refreshed after many hours of driving/riding in a car!
This was my first time traveling in a dress rather then jeans or pants and I have to admit I like it! It will definitely be a consideration for our next trip (depending on the weather of course).
After we settled in our hotel room we went across the street to grab a quick dinner at Ruby Tuesday's. My food was good, but the service was a bit off. I don't know if it was because it was towards the end of the night or if he treats everyone that way but lets just say his tip was not as good as it could have been.
We got back to the hotel that evening and quickly prepared ourselves for the morning. It would only take four hours to hit Orlando on Saturday morning and I for one could not wait!!!
Stay tuned for another post on next Monday (and eventually my first official video from the trip once I sort through some stuff). Its by no means professional and I have come to the conclusion that I need a better camera, but hopefully someone will enjoy my little snippets of our trip! Even if its just family and friends. LOL
