Sorry its taken so long. I have been out of town and away from my computer the last few days. So where was I?
As I said before Nicki and I are early risers so we awoke to land outside our window. Within a few minutes we realized we were nearing the port. I had seen pictures of the port from previous cruise reports so I was very excited to see it in person! Nicki and I got dressed and went above to take pictures. The weather was a bit chilly so we stopped and got hot chocolate before going back to our room (small tip: get the hot chocolate as son as possible. We noticed it was not as hot the later you got into breakfast time). It was so early that we were able to take a few pictures of the Red Sail area before all of the other passengers got up. We decided to check out the Adult area, and even went on the promenade so that I could take a picture on the camel at the casino. What the heck, we might as well check out the rest of the area!
We then headed back to our rooms to get ready for embarkation. When we left our room the wall of the dock was right at our window. When we came back later that day we only saw the wall! How crazy is that? Once the whole clan was together we grabbed a quick breakfast and then headed off the ship to find our tour bus (akatrolley).
